We warmly welcome new patients to the Kingston Animal Hospital family. To optimize your pet’s wellbeing, please call us to schedule your first veterinary visit soon. We also recommend familiarizing yourself with our policies and procedures prior to your first appointment.

Appointment Policy

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate on an appointment basis. While we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time every day, emergency veterinary cases are given top priority and can occasionally delay our schedule.

Also, we respectfully request that you arrive on time for your appointment and even 10–15 minutes early for your first visit so as to not delay others later in the day. If you need to change your appointment time, please give us at least a 24-hour notice.

Payment Policy

We strive continually to provide excellent veterinary care at reasonable fees. Due to the high cost of billing services, full payment is expected at the time services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept a variety of payment options including: cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.

Patient Arrival Policy

For the protection of you, your pet, and others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms. All cats must be presented in an appropriate cat carrier or on a leash.

Prescription Medication Refills

To best serve your needs, we request that you call ahead for veterinary prescription refills so as to save you any wait time upon arrival. In addition, state and federal veterinary regulations may require a re-evaluation of the patient or veterinary authorization before certain pet medications can be refilled.

Cell Phone Policy

We respectfully request that clients refrain from using cell phones in the exam rooms during office visits.
